Original 1st printing (OP-2) 13&3/4 x 22&1/2" concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing with Lightnin' Hopkins and the Loading Zone at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA from 10/21-22/1966 (poster also advertises the 10/23 Yardbirds/Country Joe & the Fish show).

 

 Art by (and SIGNED in pencil by) Wes Wilson (with a photo by Herb Greene), image is # 32 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series.

 

 Medium thick flat vellum stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; there are a couple of tiny thin diagonal corner creases (all four corners), a couple of tiny edge dings, a thin bend in the top margin (above "Bill"), a few tiny pin-prick surface scuffs here and there and a stray soft pinch ding or two hiding within the image area, otherwise it is a FANTASTIC-looking example of this classic early Fillmore image with a very tastefully-appointed artist signature in the lower right corner.
