Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" mailed schedule/marquee-style concert flyer for a series of Electric Factory-sponsored shows held at the Electric Factory, the Academy of Music and the Spectrum (all in Philadelphia, PA) from 4/17-5/22/1970. Designer unknown, handbill lists performances by Pink Floyd appearing with Insect Trust (4/17-18), James Taylor with Good News and Ambergris (4/24), John Sebastian (also with Good News and Ambergris, 4/25), Manfred Mann Chapter III and Blodwyn Pig (5/8-9), all at the Electric Factory; Frank Zappa & the Mothers of Invention with Sweet Stavin Chain (at the Academy, 5/10); The Doors with the Staple Singers and Blues Image (5/1), Creedence Clearwater Revival with Booker T. & the MG's and Wilbert Harrison (5/15) and Crosby, Stills Nash & Young (5/22, all at the Spectrum). Thin flat stock flyer is in very good (B/B+) condition; a pair of thin horizontal folds with staple holes in the center of the image and in the bottom center margin (as issued- folded into 3rds, stapled and mailed) a series of semi-pronounced creases, bends and pinch dings scattered around the image area/margins, a canceled postmark (4/21/1970) and machine address on the reverse, otherwise it is a fine example of this scarce Philadelphia-area concert artifact featuring an unbeatable lineup of talent.
