Original 1st printing 13&5/8 x 19&5/8" concert poster for "Make the Scene for '67", a three-day series of August, 1967 shows sponsored by Green Bay, WI radio station WBAY, featuring appearances by the New Colony Six, Freddie Cannon and the Cyrkle (8/29), the Robbs, Bobby Goldsboro and the McCoys (8/30) and the Left Banke, Brian Hyland and the Cryan' Shames (8/31), all shows supported by local bands the People, the Morticians, the Invaders and the Private Property. Designer unknown/not credited, medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; there is a small 1/2" diagonal wedge tear in the upper left margin, a series of tiny creases/edge tears along the upper right margin/edge, a few light surface scuffs, a small tack hole just below the "n" of "Young" and a few light handling dings and pin-prick surface spots here and there, otherwise fine. ULTRA-COOL 1967 low-run regional poster from Wisconsin featuring some of the coolest fuzz/garage rock acts of the day (New Colony Six, Robbs, Cryan' Shames) mixed with teen idols (Brian Hyland, Freddie Cannon), soft psych/pop top 40 acts (Left Banke, Cyrkle) and local openers... must have been QUITE a set of shows!
