Original 1st printing 19 x 25&1/8" concert/event poster for the 1st San Francisco Pop Festival, held at the Alameda County Fairgrounds near Pleasanton, CA on 10/26-27/1968.

 Design by Carson-Morris Studios, the poster lists appearances by Creedence Clearwater Revival, Deep Purple, Procol Harum, Buddy Miles Express, the Chambers Brothers Johnny Rivers, Jose Feliciano, Fraternity of Man, Iron Butterfly, Canned Heat, Eric Burdon & the Animals and the Grass Roots.

 Medium-thick glossy-coated index stock poster is in FANTASTIC near mint  (A- to A-/B+) condition; aside from a couple of very well-hidden tiny pinch bends and light surface scratches and a tiny corner/edge ding or two, it is an unbeatable example of this whimsical Rick Griffin-inspired design from a small regional Northern California event.
