Original 1st printing 4&1/8 x 7&1/2" postcard-backed handbill for Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin) appearing with the Staple Singers and Ten Years After at the Fillmore East in New York City from 8/2-3/1968.

 Design by Jerry Pompili, image is an un-numbered part of the Bill Graham/Fillmore East series and is featured in the Art of Rock on page 159 (plate 2.97).

 Medium-thin flat vellum stock postcard is in fantastic near mint (A-/B+) condition; just a tiny bump in the lower right corner tip, a tiny surface stain just to the right of "Brother" and one or two tiny pin-prick surface indentations, otherwise it is a SUPERB example of this neat little Fillmore East card featuring Janis and the gang.
