Original 1st printing 22&1/2 x 29&7/8" concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing at West High Auditorium in Anchorage, AK from 6/19-21/1980.

 Design by Gladstone Hollen of Paul's & Randy's Posters (with the central image of the Phoenix borrowed from Stanley Mouse), image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 377 (plate 4.140).

 Thin glossy light gray stock version (there are also light blue/white paper stock versions) poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; a set of pin/tack holes (all four corners and in the upper right margin), a light amount of handling wear, a few tiny stray stress creases and a light amount of pin-prick age spotting ("foxing"), otherwise fine.

 As a note of provenance, this poster was originally brought back from Alaska by a long-time GD crew member who worked at these shows (and MANY others). A classic Grateful Dead poster from an incredible set of 1980 fifteenth-anniversary shows. Listen to the 6/20 show here;
