Original 1st printing 16 x 22&1/2" concert/event poster for a 2-day "Festival Honoring Muhammad Ali", held in Hunter's Point in San Francisco, CA from 6/10-11/1967.

 

 Participants listed include: the Steve Miller Blues Band, Sonny Lewis Orchestra, San Francisco Mime Troupe the Charlatans, the Orkustra, the Committee, Phoenix, Haight Street Jazz Band and more,

 

 Art by Gomez, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 206 (plate 2.245).

 

 Medium flat vellum stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; there are a few thin vertical creases running along the upper left/lower right margins, a pair of thin 1" bends in the upper left/lower right corners, a touch of edge toning, a few soft handling dings along the top margin and a couple of thin stress bends in the left side of the image area, otherwise fine. The image area is pretty clean.

 

 An absolutely SUPERB-looking example of this hard-to-find poster from a semi-obscure San Francisco event.
