Original 1st printing 21&3/4 x 26&1/4" concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing with the Sons of Champlin and Initial Shock at the Avalon Ballroom In San Francisco, CA from 1/24-26/1969.

 

 Art by Rick Griffin, image ("Aoxoamoxoa") is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 109 (plate 2.24).

 

 Medium glossy-coated index stock poster is in SPARKLING near mint to excellent (A-/B+) condition; with the exception of the slightest whisper of surface wear (a touch of matte scuffing around the outer margin area and stray fingerprint or two), a tiny bottom left corner nip and a soft pinch ding or two hiding within the image area, this example is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS.
