Original 1st printing 13&3/8 x 20&7/8" concert poster for Jefferson Airplane appearing with Andrew Staples and the P.H. Phactor Jug Band on 9/2-3/1966, the Grateful Dead appearing with Quicksilver Messenger Service and Country Joe & the Fish on 9/4/1966 and Martha & the Vandellas appearing with Johnny Talbot and De Thangs on 9/5/1966, all shows held at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA.
Art by Wes Wilson, image is # 26 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series (this is OP-2 in the Eric King guide, 7pt. stock).
Medium-thin flat vellum stock poster is in BEAUTIFUL near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; aside from a tiny edge/corner bump or two, a pair of pin-prick print marks in the upper left corner and between the bottom edge of the ticket outlet area and the bottom edge, a set of tape marks and a bit of pen scratch on the reverse ("saved for Mark Hartman") and a stray fingerprint smudge or two, this is just about the CLEANEST example that IO have personally laid eyes on.
Due to the fragility of the stock, this poster damages VERY easily, finding a decent-condition example is no easy task... this one looks absolutely STUNNING.
