Pair of original 11&3/8 x 32 (appx.) first printing small-format/banner-style posters (red/white, full-color) from the 1970 Insel Fehmarn Open Air Love & Peace Festival, held from 9/4-6/1970 in Fehmarn, (West) Germany.

 Designer unknown (printed by Claudius Kraft), posters list festival participants Jimi Hendrix (his final live performance with the Experience), Ten Years After, Rod Stewart & the Faces, Joan Baez, Procol Harum, Sly & The Family Stone, the Incredible String Band, Taste (with Rory Gallagher), Peter Green (Fleetwood Mac), Mungo Jerry, Canned Heat, Rennaissance, Keef Hartley, Colosseum, Cactus, Emerson, Lake & Palmer and more.

 Thin flat index stock posters are in near mint/excellent (full-color) and good/decent (red/white) condition overall; the red poster has a fair amount of moisture staining/discoloration and a series of small tears/nips running along the left margin, along with a few stray handling dings and well-camouflaged surface marks; the full color poster just has a few light handling dings here and there and a couple of thin bends along the top margin, but is in really nice shape for the most part. 

VERY cool pair of posters from Hendrix' last stand. Check out Jimi angrily addressing the (somewhat agitated) crowd;
