Official 4th printing (1967 CA Magazine insert) 12&3/8 x 15&3/8" concert mini-poster for NYC folk-blues-rock legends the Blues Project (featuring Al Kooper, whom has also HAND-SIGNED this example in blue sharpie) appearing with the Great Society (featuring Grace Slick) at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 4/22-23/1966.

 

 Art by Wes Wilson, image is # 5 in the Family Dog/Avalon series. *This was the first full-color poster in the series, as well as the first Family Dog show held at the Avalon.

 

 Medium-thin flat index stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; just a set of tiny ("cub") staple holes (all four corners), a thin horizontal machine crease (as issued, folded in half in the center of the magazine) and a touch of handling wear, otherwise fine.

 

 REALLY nice-looking (band member-signed) example of this classic early-'66 Wes Wilson image from the venerable Avalon Ballroom.
