Original 1st printing 13&7/8 x 20&1/8" concert poster for the Grateful Dead with Quicksilver Messenger Service at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA on 1/27-28/1967.

 

 Art by Stanley Mouse (who has also HAND-SIGNED the poster in black flair pen) with Alton Kelley, image is # 45 in the Family Dog/Avalon series.

 

 Medium flat index stock poster has been restored to very good to excellent (B+) condition; there is a subtle degree of toning, and there have been repairs in the corners and around the outer margin area (sealed tears, filled tack/pin holes), and there are still a few tiny pin holes hiding within the image area, a slightly rounded/creased lower left corner tip, a nearly-invisible thin horizontal bend in the 3:00 area of the red circle and a stray edge nick or two, otherwise it is a very nice-looking ARTIST-SIGNED 1st printing example of this classic Mouse/Kelley Dead image.
