Original 1st printing 5&3/4 x 8&3/8" concert handbill for the one and only Captain Beefheart (and His Magic Band) appearing with the Oxford Circle at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 6/17-18/1966.

 Thin flat stock handbill is in excellent (B+) condition; aside from a pair of soft pin-prick stains in the bottom border area, a whisper of handling and a tiny stress bend in the center of the image, this example is VERY sharp/crisp.

 

 GREAT-looking example of this VERY early Avalon handbill (Mouse's very first design for Chet and the Dog).
