Original 1st printing 10&3/4 x 5&1/2" double-sided concert/event handbill for the Cincinnati Summer Pop Festival, held at Crosley Field in Cincinnati, OH on 6/13/1970. Artist unknown, handbill lists festival participants Traffic (freaturing Steve Winwood), Grand Funk Railroad, Mountain, Mott the Hoople, Ten Years After, Alice Cooper, Bob Seger, Bloodrock, the Stooges (with Iggy Pop), Zephyr (with Tommy Bolin), Savage Grace, Sky, Mighty Quick, Damnation of Adam Blessing, Brownsville Station, Cradle, 3rd Power and the Mike Quatro (Jam) Band. Image is # 141 in the Russ Gibb Presents series (G/G-700613-OHB-D in the Eric King guide, a recent (2015) discovery) and was co-promoted with Mike Quatro and WEBN-FM. Thin flat stock flyer is in very good (B/B+) condition; a series of 3-4 thin diagonal bends/creases (about 2-3" long) in the extreme upper right margin/corner with a tiny 1/4" tear in the top margin and a 1/8" tear in the lower right edge, a tiny surface pull over "Summer" and "The" in the upper right corner, a few light handling dings and a hint of edge/corner wear, otherwise fine. VERY hard-to-find late-period Russ Gibb item, this particular color combination (red ink/pink paper) was only recently added to the Eric King book... apparently it is quite scarce.
