Original 1st printing 17 x 21&3/4" concert poster for rock & roll pioneer Chuck Berry appearing with the Woolies and the Drifters at Bowen Field House on the campus of Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilati, MI on 10/27/1972.
Art by (and SIGNED in pencil by) Michael Brady (with Greg Sobran/Rainbow Graphics), image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 397 (plate 4.201).
Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; there's a slight thin diagonal bend (about 3") and a few soft moisture stains in the upper left corner and right center margin, a series of tiny surface indentations and a few tiny creases in the upper right corner, a thin stress bend in the top center margin, a tiny black smudge on the "m" of "WAAM" and a small bend in the bottom left corner, plus a few tiny edge dings and a slight discoloration in the lower right corner, otherwise fine.
Great-looking ARTIST-SIGNED early-'70's Michigan concert poster from the Art of Rock book.
