Original 1st printing 14&3/8 x 21&1/8" concert poster for a pair of January 1967 weekend engagements at the Grande Ballroom in Detroit, MI. Shows listed include: MC5 appearing with the Trees (1/20), Scotty's Gtroup appearing with the Passing Clouds (1/21), the Plague appearing with G-Water Blues (1/27) and MC5 appearing with the Vernor Highway Band (1/28) Art by Gary Grimshaw, image is image # 12 in the Russ Gibb Presents/Grande series. Medium-thick flat/vellum stock poster is in good/decent (B/B-); a series of tack/pin holes (all four corners, top/bottom center margins and in the ticket area in the bottom center of the image), along with a pair of tape pulls in the top left/right corners and bottom center margin that have been hand-colored with markers (a low-budget home restoration job), plus a few stray tiny brown tape stains in the left center margin/lower left corner, a few soft handling bends and tiny stress creases hiding within the image area, a few archival tape remnants on the reverse and a soft horizontal wave bend across the center of the image, otherwise fine. One of Grimshaw's earliest Grande Ballroom images, complete with the original "Uncle Russ Travel Agency" logo and a great portrait of the MC5's Fred "Sonic" Smith... ULTRA-COOL-looking Grimshaw poster.
