Original 1st printing 13&3/4 x 23&1/4" concert poster for the Chambers Brothers appearing with Children, Thyme and Up at the Grande Ballroom in Detroit, MI from 12/1-2/1967.

 Art by Carl Lundgren and Jerry Younkins, image is # 56 in the Russ Gibb Presents/Grande series and is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 302 (plate 3.153). 

 Medium-thin flat index stock poster is in decent/used (B/B- to B-) condition; there is an approximately 1" wide strip of discoloration/browning along the entire left margin, plus a thin 1" diagonal bend and tiny tear in the top left margin, a 3/4" nip out of the lower left corner tip, a 2&1/2" diagonal bend in the lower left corner, a few small edge tears in the lower right margin, a few small brown stains along the bottom edge, a tiny nip out of the left center margin, a 3" thin diagonal bend and dime-sized tape mark in the upper right corner, a series of semi-soft handling dings and thin bends (all very well-camouflaged within the image area), toning/tape marks on the reverse... you get the idea.

 While this is obviously a fairly worn example, it still has a lot of character and would probably serve just fine as an introductory piece to a new collector. Absolutely KILLER Carl Lundgren design on this one!
