Original 1st printing 6&1/4 x 8&7/8" double-sided concert handbill/card for the Grateful Dead appearing with the New Riders of the Purple Sage (*and special guest Janis Joplin on 7/16) at the Euphoria (Pepperland) in San Rafael, CA on 7/14 and 7/16/1970. 

 Art by San Andreas Fault (Tad Hunter), image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 364 (plate 4.93).

 Medium glossy coated index stock card/handbill (with a map to the venue and coming attractions on the reverse) is in FANTASTIC near mint (A-) condition; the yellow pass of ink is slightly off-register and there is just the slightest trace of surface wear, but overall it is a VERY clean example. Additionally, this example (unlike most circulating examples) does NOT have the usual hand-written (in flair pen) date corrections above "Dead".
