Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" concert flyer for the Family Tree appearing with the Hedds and the Friendly Stranger at California Hall in San Francisco, CA on 4/1/1966.

 

 Artist unknown (show was promoted by Stray Cat/"the Fog"), image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 174 (plate 2.141).

 

 Thin flat stock flyer is in good/decent (B to B/B-) condition; a quartet of diagonal clear tape remnants in all four corners with a small pull in the top left corner, a moderate degree of handling wear/light creasing, a set of flattened vertical/horizontal folds, a couple of small edge dings/nicks here and there and a couple of tiny pin-prick age spots, otherwise fine.

 

Very weird-looking San Francisco psychedelic concert flyer with a decidedly strange design. This show was right around the same time as the earliest Bill Graham/Family Dog concerts... REAL early piece.
