Original 1st printing 23&1/8 x 29" uncut concert poster for "Orange Groove", a series of concerts held at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa, CA in the fall of 1968*.

 Art by Bob Fried, image (regular edition/no white border) is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 273 (plate 3.64); this is the UNCUT version with an additional credit in the lower right margin ("The Food", c. 1968 no. 6 (apparently this is the sixth image in the series) and a set of thin vertical printer's strike marks.

 Medium-thick glossy-coated index stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; a set of tack holes (all four corners and in the left/right center margin area), a very soft diagonal roll bend in the upper left corner, a few stray soft pin-prick surface stains scattered around the outer border area, a bit of minor creasing along the bottom margin, a few light handling dings and thin surface scratches and a small 1/4" tear in the lower left margin, otherwise fine.

 ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS late-'68 Bob Fried image from the Art of Rock book, I just recently found out who was actually scheduled to perform at this event (*see photo- thanks to Posterscene for the scan). A KILLER piece that doesn't show up very often.
