Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" concert flyer for Texas blues-rock legends ZZ Top (VERY early show) appearing with Crystal at the world-famous Armadillo World Headquarters in Austin, TX on 1/23/1971. Artist unknown, not credited, thin flat stock flyer is in decent/used (B-) condition; there is a small 1/2" wedge tear in the top right corner tip, a set of tape pulls/marks on the reverse that bleed through to the front of the paper, a pair of thin vertical/horizontal bends running along the top/right margins, a bit of handwriting ("To Sheila from the One and Only Krazy Mickey", in red flair pen) on the right side of the image area, a couple of stray pin/tack holes hiding within the image area, light handling/creasing, a thin 1" horizontal split tear just to the right of "Top" and a few light pin-prick surface stains here and there, otherwise fine. While this example is definitely a bit on the worn side, it an INCREDIBLY scarce/hard-to-find (and EARLY- the first year of operation for the venue) concert flyer from the Armadillo featuring one of ZZ Top's first-ever headlining appearances. KILLER!!!
