Original 1st printing 15&1/2 x 10" double-sided aluminum printing plate and 8&1/2 x 11" concert flyer for Quicksilver Messenger Service appearing with Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin) and Country Joe & the Fish at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA on 11/25-26/1966.
Art by Victor Moscoso, image is # 36 in the Family Dog/Avalon series. Flyer is the WHITE stock version (OHB-A in the Eric King guide).
Medium-thick aluminum plate is in good shape; there are a few scattered tiny bends and surface smudges, along with a bit of ink residue in the top/bottom margin area and a few bends along the edges, but for a piece of almost 50-year old production material, it looks REALLY sharp.
Thin flat stock flyer is in good to very good (B to B/B+) condition; a small 1/2" crescent-shaped wedge tear in the left center margin, a hint of moisture rippling, a few tiny pin-prick stains in the bottom right margin and an ultra-soft moisture stain in the upper right corner, otherwise fine.
