Original 1st printing 5&3/8 x 7&1/2" (appx. -top/bottom edges have been trimmed by about a half inch on either side) concert poster for the Jimi Hendrix Experience appearing with Electric Flag, Blue Cheer and the Soft Machine at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, CA on 2/10/1968. Art by John Van Hamersveld, image (poster) is featured in the Art of Rock on page 277 (plate 3.72 -this is the red ink/orange stock handbill). Thin flat index stock handbill is in decent/used (B-/C+) condition; aside from the aforementioned edge trimming, an enterprising young artist has outlined Jimi's head (in black flair pen), plus there are a set of tack holes with tiny indentations/pressure dents around the outer edges, a soft handling ding or two and a tiny smudge on the reverse, otherwise fine. While the conditional report on this example could be better, it is still a mostly-intact original edition of one of Van Hamersveld's most popular Pinnacle images. Perfect for the casual collector.
