Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" concert flyer for the Grateful Dead appearing with Oxford Circle at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA on 9/16-17/1966.
Art by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley (with the central image of the skeleton by Edmund Sullivan), image ("Skeleton & Roses") is # 26 in the Family Dog/Avalon series.
Thin flat stock flyer is in absolutely STUNNING mint/near mint to near mint (A/A- to A-) condition; only the slightest whisper of handling, a nearly-invisible vertical stress bend in the lower right margin and a tiny pin-prick age spot in the ticket outlet area keep this one out of the "virgin" category, but it's pretty much as close as you can get.
A VERY clean/bright original 1st printing example of one of the most iconic Grateful Dead images of ALL TIME. KILLER!!!!
