Original 1st printing 14 x 21&1/2" concert poster for Country Joe & the Fish appearing with Led Zeppelin (their San Francisco debut) and Taj Mahal at the Fillmore West in San Francisco, CA from 1/9-11/1969.
Art by Randy Tuten (with William "Daddy Bread" Bosdedt and a photo by Peter Pynchon), image is # 155 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series.
Medium glossy-coated index stock poster is in near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; an ultra soft/nearly-invisible diagonal bend (about 1&1/2-2") in the upper right corner, a pair of tiny hairline bends in the top margin and a very subtle amount of surface wear/handling (a few stray pinch bends/fingerprints and tiny edge/corner dings), otherwise it is an absolutely SUPERB-looking example of the very first Led Zeppelin Fillmore poster. Additionally, this poster has been HAND-SIGNED (in gold ink) by the one and only Taj Mahal!
In addition to these shows being the first Zeppelin shows in San Francisco, Country Joe's guests on the final night (1/11) included Jerry Garcia and Mickey Hart of the Grateful Dead, Jorma Kaukonen of Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna (incidentally, the Airplane's Jack Casady was filling in on bass for Country Joe at all of these shows) and Steve Miller. WOW!!!!
