Original 1st printing 4&1/4 x 7&1/22" concert/event handbill for the 1st St. Louis Pop Festival, held at Kiel Auditorium in St. Louis, MO on 3/7/1970.

Art by Bad Dog Graphics, handbill lists festival participants Country Joe & the Fish, Steam, Rotary Connection, Chuck Berry, Blues Magoos, Frijid Pink, Pleasure Seekers (with Suzi Quatro), Amboy Dukes (with Ted Nugent), the Stooges (with Iggy Pop), Frost, Touch, Murge, Pax, Aardvark, Spur, Jay Barry, Alvin Pivil and Stop.

Image is #139 in the Russ Gibb Presents series (G/G-700307 in the Eric King guide) and was co-promoted with Mike Quatro and Falstaff Beer.

Medium-thin flat index stock handbill is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; only a thin diagonal bend extending from the bottom left corner tip to about 3" up the right-hand margin a couple of tiny corner bumps and a stray pinch ding or two, otherwise fine.

VERY uncommon late-period Russ Gibb image from a somewhat obscure event.
