Original 1st printing 13&7/8 x 24&5/8" concert poster for the Byrds appearing with the Wildflower, accompanied by a performance of LeRoi Jones' one-act play, "The Dutchman", at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA from 9/16-17/1966.

 

 Art by (and SIGNED in black sharpie by) Wes Wilson, image is # 28 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series.

 

 Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; there's a pair of small tears in the bottom margin (1/8" on the left, 1/2" on the right), along with a few thin creases/light bends, a 3/4" diagonal bend with a tiny pull in the bottom left corner, a few very tiny edge dings, a slightly rounded top left corner, a few thin diagonal bends and a 1/4" tear in the upper right corner/margin, a stray pinch ding or two and one or two tiny pin-prick stains, otherwise fine.

 

 Great-looking SIGNED example of this early Fillmore poster featuring a groovy photo of the David Crosby-era Byrds.
