Original 1st printing 14 x 22" concert poster for Jefferson Airplane* appearing with Gabor Szabo and the Jimi Hendrix Experience (first-ever Fillmore performances) appearing at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA on 6/20-25/1967 (*replaced on the final night by Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin).
Art by Clifford Charles Seely, image is # 69 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series.
Medium-thick flat index stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; a thin strip (about 1/4") of toning/matte shadow around the outer margins, along with a small 1/4" push bend/crease in the left center margin, a tiny 1/2" diagonal bend in the bottom right corner tip, a soft 1" diagonal bend in the top right corner, a couple of ultra-tiny razor-thin bends in the top left margin, one or two tiny surface dings, a hint of waviness/curl to the paper, otherwise fine. The purple ink on this example has turned somewhat lighter (due to sun exposure), but it is VERY subtle.
A very presentable example of this original 1st printing concert poster from the historic San Francisco debut of the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Historic!
