Collection of six (6) original 1st printing 1967-1968 concert postcards for assorted Russ Gibb Presents concerts and events held at the Grande Ballroom and Cobo Hall (Detroit, MI). Bands listed include: the Doors, Traffic, Blood, Sweat & Tears, Procol Harum, Paul Butterfield Blues Band and many more.

 Art by Gary Grimshaw, images are #'s 61, 72, 79, 84, 85 and 86 in the Russ Gibb/Grande series and are assorted sizes (mostly around 4&1/8 x 7&1/8"). The # 72, 84 and 86 cards have all been SIGNED by Gary in black flair pen.

 Medium-thin flat index and vellum stock cards are all in decent/used (C, the 184 card) to very good/excellent (B/B+ to B+, the 86 card,) condition; several of them have issues ranging from edge trimming (84), pen scribble/embellishment (61 and 79) and home restoration attempts (72 and 84) to tape marks/stains, pin holes, etc... definitely not for the faint of heart, condition wise.

 Conditional issues aside, this is still a very nice little selection of ORIGINAL 1st printing Grimshaw-designed Grande cards, some of which are ARTIST-SIGNED. Great way to start a collection if you're inclined.
