Pair of original 1st printing 1969 thin flat stock concert handbills from a pair of concerts held in Fremont and Pleasanton, CA; 1) a 5&1/2 x 8&1/2" boxing-style handbill for a pair of Bill Quarry-produced shows held at the Alameda County Fair in Pleasanton; Sweet Linda Divine appearing with Cold Blood and the Staton Brothers on 7/5/1969 and the People appearing with Loading Zone and Rejoice on 7/12/1969. Thin flat stock handbill is in good (B) condition; a semi-pronounced moisture stain in the upper left corner/quadrant, a fair amount of handling marks/creases and thin bends (mostly flattened), along with a tiny edge tear or two and a minor amount of surface rubbing in the lower right corner, otherwise fine. 2) a 4&1/4 x 11" boxing-style handbill for AUM appearing with Sanpaku and the Staton Brothers at the U.A.W. Hall in Fremont, CA on 5/17/1969. Thin flat stock handbill is also in good (B) condition; it has a couple of flattened bends/creases, a pin-prick surface stain or two, a few stray handling dings and a touch of toning, but is otherwise OK. Very neat little pair of uncommon/oddball East Bay concert items!
