Original 1st printing 21&3/4 x 26&1/4" concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing with the Sons of Champlin and Initial Shock at the Avalon Ballroom In San Francisco, CA from 1/24-26/1969.

 

 Art by Rick Griffin, image ("Aoxoamoxoa") is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 109 (plate 2.24).

 

 Medium glossy-coated index stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; with the exception of a small 1&3/8" diagonal bend, a tiny pinch bend in the lower left corner and just the slightest whisper of surface wear (a stray fingerprint or two), this example is VERY crisp/clean overall with very strong colors.
