Original first printing 11&3/8 x 32 (appx.) small-format/banner-style poster (red/white, 1DM) from the 1970 Insel Fehmarn Open Air Love & Peace Festival, held from 9/4-6/1970 in Fehmarn, (West) Germany. Designer unknown (printed by Claudius Kraft), poster lists festival participants Jimi Hendrix (his final performance with the JHE), Ten Years After, Rod Stewart & the Faces, Joan Baez, Procol Harum, Sly & The Family Stone, the Incredible String Band, Taste (with Rory Gallagher), Peter Green (Fleetwood Mac), Mungo Jerry, Canned Heat, Rennaissance, Keef Hartley, Colosseum, Cactus, Emerson, Lake & Palmer and more. Thin flat index stock poster is in good/decent (B/B-) condition overall; a set of (3) horizontal folds and (1) vertical fold (poster was folded into 1/8ths at one point), a couple of areas of adhesive residue (fun-tak/wax) in the corners, around the edges and in the center on the reverse side that are starting to bleed through to the front of the image, causing tiny darkened/transparent areas where affected, plus a hint of toning, a bit of minor handling/surface wear and a well-camouflaged 1-2" tape pull in the left center margin (just to the left of "Canned Heat"), otherwise fine. Not a perfect example, but it retains a certain charm/appeal. Check out Jimi angrily addressing the (somewhat agitated) crowd; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3tCpqjAvXek
