Original 1st printing 4&1/8 x 7&3/8" postcard-backed (magenta) concert handbill for the James Cotton Blues Band appearing with the MC5 on 11/10/1967 and with Billy C. and the Sunshine on 11/11/1967, both shows held at the Grande Ballroom in Detroit, MI.

 Art by Carl Lundgren with a photo by Victor Skrebneski, image is # 52 in the Russ Gibb Presents/Grande series (the ninth full-color postcard) and is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 301 (plate 3.145). 

 Medium-thin flat index stock postcard is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; a trio of semi-pronounced thin diagonal lines extending from the upper left margin/edge to the top edge of Vanessa Redgrave's head, a minor amount of corner rounding/softening, a tiny bend in the top right corner, a tiny pull and a hint of toning on the reverse, otherwise fine.

 One of the most popular images in the Grande series, this card has been increasingly elusive as of late.
