Original 1st printing 19&1/4 x 27&3/8 x 8&1/2" concert poster for the Mothers of Invention (featuring Frank Zappa) appearing with Sweetwater and the Charlie Musselwhite Blues Band at the Shrine Exposition Hall in Los Angeles, CA on 5/10-11/1969. Design by R. L. Ramirez, image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 270 (plate 3.50). Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in decent/used (B/B- to B-) condition; a 2 x 2&3/4" chunk of paper missing from the top right corner, a 1 x 1/2" slice and clear tape residue in the top left corner, a series of semi-pronounced hard stress bends throughout the image, a few tiny surface scrapes and pinch dings and a bit of pen/marker scratch on the reverse (starting to bleed through the top left corner) and a couple of little edge dings and tiny tears, otherwise fine. Overall not too bad for an original low-run Zappa concert poster from 1969 with a really neat design.
