Original 1st printing 14&1/4 x 20" concert poster for Quicksilver Messenger Service appearing with Taj Mahal and the Blue Flames and the Sons of Champlin at the Avalon Ballroom from 10/27-29/1967.

 Art by Rick Griffin (with help from Stanley Mouse), image ("Sunday Funnies") is # 89 in the Family Dog/Avalon series.

 Medium flat index stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; a small dime-sized discoloration (residue from an old price tag) and a bit of rubbing in the bottom right corner, a few tiny surface dings and well-camouflaged handling/pinch bends scattered here and there, a tiny soft stain in the lower left margin and a nearly-invisible ultra-soft vertical bend extending from the top margin (just above the "h" of "The") down to the bottom margin (below "Discorama"), otherwise fine.

 An overall fine-looking example of one of Griffin's more amusing Family Dog images.
