Original 1st printing 14&1/4 x 20" concert poster for the Daily Flash appearing with Country Joe & the Fish at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA on 10/21-22/1966.
Art by (and SIGNED in gold pen by both) Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley, image is # 31 in the Family Dog/Avalon series, this is the corrected dates/2nd-state edition. Additionally, this particular example has been HAND-COLORED (in art marker and watercolor) by Stanley Mouse himself.
Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; a hint of edge toning, a few tiny stray pin-prick age spots, an ultra-soft diagonal bend in the lower left margin and just a trace of handling wear, otherwise this is an absolutely gorgeous-looking (and TOTALLY UNIQUE) artist-embellished example of a classic 1st printing Mouse/Kelley poster from the Avalon. Can't beat it!
