Original 1st printing 24&1/8 x 37" Warner/Reprise Records promotional poster for the Kinks 1969 Reprise album "Arthur" and accompanying Fall U.S. Tour. Cities/venues listed include New York (Fillmore East 10/17-18), Boston (Boston Tea Party 11/23-25), Chicago (Kinetic Playground 10/30-11/1), Detroit (Grande Ballroom 11/7-8), Cincinnati (Ludlow Garage 11/14-15), Los Angeles (Whisky-A-Go-Go 11/20-23) and San Francisco (Fillmore West, 11/27-30- this date corresponds with the BG 204 image). Medium-thin glossy stock poster is in used (B-/C+) condition; a fairly moderate to heavy degree of wear on this one- missing corners, tack/staple holes, folds, edge tears/nicks, tape pulls/chipping, water/moisture staining/spotting, tape marks on the reverse, creasing, etc... it's quite obvious that this example saw quite a life and is pretty much just a "filler" copy for Bill Graham/Grande/Boston obsessives. Despite the obvious conditional issues on this one, it does feature a really neat flag-themed design along with a list of important venues on the "psychedelic chitlin' circuit"; a very cool piece, I say.
