Original 1st printing 4 x 7" postcard-backed concert handbill for the Who appearing with Buddy Guy and the Free Spirits at Bill Graham's Fillmore East in New York City on 4/5-6/1968. Art by Helen Heish, image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 157 (plate 2.71) and is the second image in the BG/FE series. Thin flat card stock handbill/card is in near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; aside from a touch of softening in a few of the corners, a trace of edge wear and a tiny soft indentation in the bottom center, this is just about as nice as they come. A LEGENDARY Who performance (the show was taped and has been traded for many years in bootleg circles), this was their first show at the then-newly renamed Fillmore East.
