Original 1st printing 14&1/8 x 20" concert poster for Quicksilver Messenger Service appearing along with the Steve Miller Blues Band and John Lee Hooker at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA on 3/22-23/1967. Art by Victor Moscoso, image ("Plains of Quicksilver") is # 53 in the Family Dog/Avalon series. Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; tack pin/staple holes in all four corners/top/bottom center/lower left right margins, a bit of minor corner/edge creasing along the bottom edge/bottom corners, a 1/2" tear in the top right corner and a 1/8" tear in the bottom left margin and a few well-hidden stress/handling bends, otherwise fine- looks very nice overall. The 1st printing versions of this one don't show up nearly as often as they used to (2nds/3rds are common)... they are actually getting hard to find these days.
