Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" concert flyer for Jefferson Airplane appearing with the Great Society (featuring Grace Slick) at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA on 7/22-23/1966. Art by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley (with the central image borrowed from Franz (Von) Stuck), image is # 17 in the Family Dog/Avalon series (this version is purple ink on yellow stock, OHB-B in the Eric King guide). Thin flat stock flyer is in excellent (B+) condition; a couple of stray pin-prick age spots in the bottom margin, a slightly worn top left corner tip with a tiny stain and a nick or two along the top edge, a couple of tiny flattened creases in the right center margin and a couple of thin stress bends in the center of the image, otherwise fine. An overall very crisp-looking example of this early Mouse/Kelley flyer from the Avalon.
