 ITEM DESCRIPTION

Original 1st printing 8&3/8 x 10&7/8" (6) page program/magazine for the May 1970 schedule of Electric Factory-sponsored shows held at the Electric Factory, Academy of Music and Spectrum in Philadelphia, PA. Design (cover) by Gerald Stevens Inc., program features bios of four of the month's headlining acts (the Doors (5/1), Manfred Mann (5/8-9), Creedence Clearwater Revival (5/15) and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young (5/22) and lists additional performances by NRBQ (5/2) and Frank Zappa & the Mothers of Invention (5/10), along with local business ads, a profile of promo man Matty Singer, a full page ad for "Morrison Hotel" and more. Medium-flat index stock program is in good to very good (B to B/B+) condition; a soft vertical center fold, a moderate amount of surface scuffing/dirt in the upper right corner and left margin, light handling wear, a bit of minor tattering along the top edge a pair of rusty staples and a bit of minor spine wear, otherwise a fine example of this scarce Philadelphia-area concert artifact with no writing/missing pages/cut-outs. INCREDIBLE line-up of shows. Check other listings for the April and June 1970 issues of EFM.
