Original 1st printing 4&1/4 x 6&3/4" blank-reverse concert/event handbill for an RCA Records listening party/promotional event for Jefferson Airplane, held at Webster Hall in New York City on 1/8/1967. Art by Wes Wilson, image is not part of the numbered Bill Graham/Fillmore series, but uses the same design/format of the BG 42 image, presumably with Bill's blessing/approval (he was managing the Airplane at the time). Medium-thin vellum stock stock handbill is in very good (B/B+) condition; a tiny pin hole and a pair of tiny tears in the top margin, light handling, a pin hole in the bottom center margin and a soft diagonal bend near the center of the image and a slight tape mark on the reverse, otherwise fine. VERY uncommon Jefferson Airplane item from their first-ever NYC appearance. Additionally, the show featured guest appearances by Mike Bloomfield and Mark Naftalin of the Paul Butterfield Blues Band (see photo).
