Trio of original 1st printing items from the first-ever rock memorabilia auction, the "Rock Relics Auction Show", a benefit (for "Metamorphosis", supporting peace candidates in the 1970 elections) held at Bill Graham's Fillmore East in New York City on 10/12/1970. Lot includes a 5 x 18&1/4" thin paper handbill (with lot details), a 1&1/2 x 1&5/8" ticket stub and a 16-page 5&1/2 x 8&1/2" program. Thin flat stock handbill is in very good (B/B+) condition; a series of horizontal folds (as issued), a small pull tear just above a small machine-punch hole in the top center margin, a few scattered tiny handling dings and a stray surface pit or two, otherwise fine. The program is in good (B) condition- the event attendee has neatly circled the lots in the auction they were planning to bid on (all items related to The Who) in blue flair pen, and there's a few tiny scuffs and handling dings on the front/back cover, but it's fine otherwise. Ticket stub has light creasing and a partial "Not for Resale- Fillmore East Box Office" stamp on the reverse, but is otherwise fine. A really nifty (and scarce) lot of original items from one of the more interesting one-off events at the Fillmore East.
