Original 1st printing 13&7/8 x 20" concert poster for Canadian folk legend Gordon Lightfoot appearing from 5/18-21/1967 at the New Penelope (Coffee House) in Montreal, Quebec, Canada (sponsored by Elektra and Verve/Folkways Records in association with Expo '67). Art by Robert LaVigne, image is one of only a few event posters created by Liberty Graphics (most were done for shows at NYC's Cafe Au Go-Go, this is the only single-show event poster from Canada that I'm aware of); this poster (and others in the series) were distributed by the poster shop upstairs from the C.A.G.G. ("The Infinite Poster"), in addition to being used for show promotion. Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; an ultra-minor amount of edge wear (a few small vertical edge bends towards the top edge), a few scattered small handling/pinch dings and a tiny surface stain or two, otherwise fine. Very strange psychedelic poster for the noted Canadian bard.
