Original 1st printing 5&1/2 x 8&1/2" thin paper blank-reverse handbill for the 1/8-2/27/1971 schedule of shows at Bill Graham's Fillmore East in New York City; acts listed include: Buddy Miles with Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Nick Gravenites) and Sweetwater (1/8-9), Electric Hot Tuna with Taj Mahal and Brethren (1/15-16), Dave Mason & Cass Elliot with Odetta and Livingston Taylor (1/22-23), James Taylor (1/25), Spirit with Bloodrock (1/29-30), Steppenwolf with the Spencer Davis Group and Luther Allison (2/5-6), the Small Faces (featuring Rod Stewart and Ron Wood) with the Grease Band and Savoy Brown (2/16-17), Black Sabbath (2/19-20), and Fleetwood Mac (2/26-27). Design by Jerry Pompili, image is an un-numbered part of the Bill Graham/Fillmore East series; thin flat stock handbill is in near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; only a couple of really minor handling dings (mostly in the top margin), a slight bump in the top right corner tip and a nearly-invisible horizontal center crease, otherwise fine. Nice little original late-period Fillmore East item in pretty sharp condition.
