Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" concert flyer for Love (featuring Arthur Lee) appearing with Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin) at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA on 7/15-16/1966* (canceled). Art by Stanley Mouse (who also SIGNED the poster in pencil) and Alton Kelley (with the central image borrowed from Franz (Von) Stuck), image is # 17A in the Family Dog/Avalon series. Thin flat stock flyer is in absolutely gorgeous mint/near mint to near mint (A/A- to A-) condition; aside from a small pinch ding above "Love" and a tiny surface scuff in the lower left margin, you can not ask for a cleaner example. STUNNING-looking early SIGNED Mouse image from the Avalon.
