Original 1st printing 13&1/8 x 20" concert poster for the Velvet Underground (with Lou Reed), along with Iron Butterfly and Crome Syrcus at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA on 6/7-9/1968. Art by (and SIGNED in silver ink by) Raphael (Was Bob) Schnepf, image is # 122 in the Family Dog/Avalon series. Medium glossy-coated index stock poster is in absolutely fantastic near mint (A-) condition; aside from a trace of surface scuffing in the ticket outlet area and perhaps a stray fingerprint or two, this specimen is just about as clean and bright as you can find anywhere. One of the more popular late-period FD images, this one has a really pretty design (and a nice fat silver signature).
