Original 1st printing 14&1/8 x 19&7/8" concert poster for Los Angeles-based folk-rockers the Grass Roots appearing with Daily Flash and Sopwith Camel at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA on 7/1-3/1966. Art by (and SIGNED in pencil by) Wes Wilson (with Dali photo by Philippe Halsman), image ("Wonderland") is # 15 in the Family Dog/Avalon series. Medium flat vellum stock poster is in good/decent (B to B/B-) condition; a series of about 8-10 scattered light oil/candle wax stains in the 3-5:00 area of the poster (each about 1/8-1/2" in diameter), plus there's a set of well-hidden staple/pin holes in the four corners, a small 1-2" light horizontal scrape in the top left margin, a stray handling/surface ding or two, a tiny shadow around the "Sat" (sticker fell off long ago) and a few edge dings, but otherwise it's an overall very nice SIGNED example of an early Family Dog 1st printing for the casual collector.
