Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" two-sided concert flyer for the Grateful Dead appearing at Sound Storm, a three day event held at York Farm near Poynette, WI on 4/24-26/1970 (GD confirmed on Sunday 4/26). Design by the Bob Ocegueda, flyer lists (in addition to the Dead) Ken Kesey (canceled), Crow, Illinois Speed Press, Rotary Connection (with Minnie Ripperton), Fuse (featuring Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick), Baby Huey (and the Babysitters), Soup and a host of local bands (with names such as "the Sorry Muthas", Captain Billy's Whiz Band", "the Soul Asylum"(?) and more. Thin flat stock flyer is in near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; just a trace of handling wear, a hint of edge wear and a stray surface ding or two, otherwise fine. Real unusual low-run regional Dead flyer from Wisconsin, not much was known about this show until recently, check out a GREAT blog post about the festival HERE: http://rockarchaeology101.blogspot.com/2009/12/york-farm-poynette-wi-april-24-26-1970.html
