Original 1st printing/1st state version (no silver-ink overprint) 22&5/8 x 28&1/2" untrimmed printer's proof sheet (concert poster + (4) handbills) for the "Fire Dance" (a show to benefit artist Alton Kelley, whose studio had burned down) featuring the Steve Miller Band, the Charlatans and Dan Hicks & His Hot Licks at the Carousel Ballroom in San Francisco, CA on 6/12/1968 (*show was rescheduled from 5/8/1968 and was originally supposed to have included Jefferson Airplane, who dropped out). Art by (and SIGNED in black pen by) Stanley Mouse & Alton Kelley, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 182 (plate 2.173). Medium-thick flat index stock sheet is in excellent (B+) condition; a couple of very light handling dings/pinch creases in the corners and a few scattered at various points around the edges, a couple of stray light fingerprints and subtle surface smudges, otherwise fine. One of the COOLEST-looking images from the Carousel, this particular example has a really neat set of old-school '70's M/K signatures
